The face of young hard workers: Abigail Muller

2020, as hated as it may be, was a big year for all of us. As the world shifted online, we saw the most unlikely things do the same: weddings, graduations, funerals, volunteer work, you name it. Amid the chaos, our generation has adapted wonderfully to these new means of getting on with work, and some, like Abigail Muller, have been making the best of it.

At the young age of 15, Abigail is already set to marking her place in the world. While she is attending high school and state college both, she is also actively involved with a number of nonprofit organizations, like Project Patriarchy, Women in Politics, and the Youth Activism Project Community, to name a few.

One might ask such driven individuals, what motivates them? How did they know for sure that the goal they’re working for is ‘the one’ for them? And just like many of them, Abigail has a similar response: ‘it just clicked’. And in this world, with its fair share of corrupt politicians, it soothes the eyes to see such an enthusiastic one, bubbling with energy and passion to genuinely help others around her. Her interests are inclined towards being of civil service to the people of her country, in every way that she can.

Her passions include swimming and political sciences, in accordance with her ambitions to attend the 2024 Olympics in the 100m Butterfly and to become a civil rights lawyer and congressional politician. And these are most definitely not just hollow dreams; Abigail has broken high school records as a competitive swimmer and serves as the Vice President of her debate team. She also has an entrepreneurial streak in her too and has put it to good use, considering she is in top leadership positions in 3 companies and organizations, namely Elite Graphic Design, The Youth Economics Network, and EPTIRE: Human Rights Magazine.

Jim Rohn once said: “Take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live.” And while Ms. Muller may seem like an extremely busy person, she believes that time management is an extremely important virtue. Her schedule, though it might be a full one, leaves her enough time to herself to unwind and rest. In her free time, she likes to play the piano, write poetry, and paint. However, it’s not long before Abigail is on her feet and back to working on what she loves.

I eagerly await what the future holds for such a well-rounded individual.
